Founded in 1960, CGPC-ENDURATEX employs a workforce of about 3,000 men and women, and we rank as one of the largest plastics and petrochemical enterprises in the world.

The China General Group of companies established in Taiwan in 1997, and was integrated into the broader U.S.I.F.E. Group in 1998. This move brought together a fully integrated manufacturing organization, based on the petrochemical industry. Operation of our 23 PVC Calendars provides PVC film and PVC leather for a wide variety of product applications. Many of these operations were additionally developed, in 1999, at our China operating site in Zhong Shan, Guang Dong province, conveniently 1.1/2 hours by boat from Hong Kong. Our China factories also produce a high quality range of inflatable leisure products, together with design-led house-ware products such as Shower Curtains, Table Cloths, Furniture Covers, Car protection Covers. In fact, many innovative products are developed from PVC or PE in collaboration with our many overseas clients.

In early 1997, CGPC was acquired by USI Far East and Union Petro Chemical, giving all companies greater business opportunities on an international level.

As the second largest calendaring operation in the world, CGPC produces a comprehensive range of vinyl films and expanded leathers for the major markets of the world.

All our factories are IS0 9002, QS 9000 and SGS – 9002 certified.
